Japanese Public Health Insurance

Foreign students are required to join public health insurance and pay premiums. With this insurance, you will generally need to pay only 30% of medical expenses, when you are sick or injured. The premiums are remitted for students from abroad who does not have any income. It will be about \1,500 per month. When you come to the hospital, make sure that you bring the insurance card.

Insurance for students

-   Personal Accident Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research〔Compulsory〕

 This insurance covers the medical treatment for the accidents occur during the class or on the way to university. All the students are required to join this insurance.

 

 

Daily Life in Japan

Health control

-  Periodical Health Checkup is done once a year for every students in April.

 

-  Medical room (1st floor of main building)

    Temporary treatment for the accidents during extracurricular activities and school activities will be done in Medical room.

    Consultation with school doctor is done once a month. Please check the date at the medical room

 

-    Consultation room for students (1st floor in main building)

     Consultation on various worry and problem are accepted as below.

     Basic date and time:

     Second Tuesday 13:45-15:45 by psychiatrist

     Mon to Fri     10:25-16:05 counseling by clinical psychotherapist

                           Mon & Thu: Male counselor

                           Tue, Wed, Fri: Female counselor

     Mon to Fri      9:00-17:00 various consultation
